Chained

You know what our tragedy is?
Think about it. We will fizzle out. We won't remember.
We'll be the fragment of memory that randomly appears when you're sitting in a bus looking out and disappears before you can clutch at it. There won't be a celebration, there will not be a disaster. In fact, we will not even realize when it's over till we've left it too far behind, and then we'll shrug and take another drag and keep walking.

That's our tragedy, you see - there is no tragedy.
We are prisoners of mediocrity.

  2. CS, It need not be this way. We can keep the fizz going a long time... Depends on how you want to live your life and your priorities :)

    1. Everything remains till we are present, not otherwise.
But yes, to each his own! :)

As already said, that's the irony of life maybe.
